Gallery Idol round # 3

Hello Everybody!!

Now I´m in Round # 3 of Gallery Idol. I´m one among Top 15.
I checked the Papercrafts connection blog link again and again to believe it.And yes I made it!!

I want to thank you all who voted for me in round # 2. And hope you will vote me for this round too.

Here is my card for Round # 3

                                                  The theme for Round # 3 is "Stencils".

For this card I have used five different stencils, out of that one is self made stencil.

First using dotted round stencil I applied modelling paste on the card blank and black paper. I added little orange acrylic colour to this paste.

Then using another stencil I applied modelling paste on vellum. I added turquoise acrylic colour and bit of glitter powder to it. And then did distresssing using orange versa colour and yellow dye ink.

With another dotted line stencil, I made one orange strip where I did heat embossing with champagne colour powder and then did distressing.

For the Butterfly, I borrowed my daughter´s stencil. I applied strukturesnow paste. Its kind of granular modelling paste and then I added orange acrylic colour to the paste. I tried it with a brush since it was a thick stencil. And then I did fussy cutting.

 This is a self made stencil using Die cut shapes and then i added thick layer of turquoise paste and added tiny beads to it. 

Sentiments are from the craft´s meow. Added some sequins, silver floss and bit of stitching!!

Gallery Idol round # 2

Hello Friends,

I´m so excited to share my card with you for the Paper craft Magazine´s Gallery Idol Round 2!!

The theme for Round #2 is " Die Cutting".

I wanted to show peacock sitting on the window which has mosaic panel.

For creating  window panel, I have used Sizzix Framelits ornate die set.I cut the label at  4 points to get two angles. I repeated this step with golden cardstock.

To give mosaic effect, I used some mosaic tile´s broken pieces and the grout ( mosaic cement).

For peacock I have used again Sizzix decorative vintage die set .

To create colorful feathers, I had to die-cut lot of tiny pieces using navy blue, golden and turquoise cardstock and then I distressed the edges of all the die-cut pieces.

After arranging all the die cut pieces, I did masking on card blank and sticked all the pieces.

Added some sequins. Sentiments are heat embossed with golden embossing powder from Knorr prandell.

Sentiment stamp is from The Alley Way stamps.
That´s my take on Diecuts.

Gallery Idol Top 20

Hello Friends,

Paper Craft Magzine has every year Gallery Idol contest. This year I also submitted cards because the theme was to use washi or fabric tapes...which are my most favourite craft products. And to my shock I made it  to the Top #20.

Birthday wishes!

Good morning!!

Yup...those are paint colour chips. Good that paint store does not charge for these strips.. We painted our house last year and since then I and kept those colour strips in my craft room and was hoping to use it some day..: )

CAS-ual Friday # 131

Hello Friends!!

Today´s card is for this week´s CAS-ual friday´s challenge - Three Thirds.
Challenge is to use 3 of  something  on just one third of card and to keep it
clean and simple.

I have used 3 words, 3 different colored mosaic tiles ( pink, silver and gold), 3 baby pink sequins and

3 silver tiny sequins.

First I stamped the sentiments and then I made the frame accordingly.

I made it using 3 different coloured mosaic tiles and grout (mosaic cement)

Hope you like my simple and clean card.

For this I picked up butterfly stencil from Tchibo.Some structure paste, sequins,golden and silver embossing powder, silver floss and finally bold sentiment to finish off.

I´m back to blogging world after months. I made quite a lot cards this month but didnt get time to share.

Today I ´m sharing a card which is very clean and simple.

For this card I have used background stamp  from Hobbycraft UK and then I heat embossed with golden embossing powder. 

 I added some golden heart chipboards and washi tapes.

Embossing!!!

Hello Friends

I have got a clean and simple holiday card to share with you today.
All the stamps I have used are from Hobbycraft UK christmas set.I have heat embossed the image using champagne embossing powder and coloured it using water colour pencils.

Sentiments are also heat embossed.

For the colours I have used inspiration pic from City crafter challenge.
